I love having conversations about design (truly, ask anyone around me) as a way to continue growing and to connect with the design community. What's more, I love sharing those learnings through writing – please check out my ongoing projects.
ILLUMINATING DESIGN
"Illuminating Design" is an interview series I launched at Stanford Women in Design that seeks to connect our community of aspiring, student designers with design leaders across industries.
I cast a wide net, talking to leaders in health, education, tech, and social entrepreneurship to unlock answers to big design questions, including: What is “good” design, and how is that definition evolving? How can intersectional perspectives be incorporated into the design process? How do we design for a social good?
OTHER WORKS
Published in Spring 2024, this is GV's (Google Ventures) step-by-step guide to conducting user research sprints to accelerate customer discover and value prop formation, following the process that GV has used with over 300 portfolio companies.
I collaborated with Michael Margolis to create the design prototypes included the book, which were used to model how to conduct user research.
During Summer 2022, I had the amazing opportunity to join Faire, an online wholesale marketplace that connects independent brands and retailers around the world, as the first-ever Product Design Intern in a role I co-designed. Here are some of my learnings from creatively piloting an internship with a fast-growing startup.
I worked with Katie Dill, Head of Design at Stripe and previously Lyft, to help shape, edit, and refine an article on how PMs and designers can build trusting, collaborative relationships. The article was published in Lenny Rachitsky's newsletter, which reaches 70,000+ subscribers.
I collaborated with Michael Margolis, GV's UX Research Partner, to update and edit a comprehensive guide to GV’s “Design Sprint” for start-up founders, culminating in published articles on Medium that have cumulatively received 300k views.
